Destrier: A medieval knight's warhorse
This is a wave shooter, inspired by Hyperoid by Edward Hutchins
and my own tinkering.
Survive as many waves as you can handle, 20 should be your goal.
Destroying asteroids fixes your hull by some amount, weapon ammunition,
shield energy, secondary ability energy, all recharge over time
(slowly). Enemies are kind of ruthless.
A circle inside your ship or the enemy ships indicates ammunition for
the secondary weapon is ready. Don't get too close if they have, it can
get nasty. Most secondary weapons are one-shot kills for you and the
enemies.
You will get to choose a shield after level 2. It recharges slowly and
gives you 5 seconds of… something, depends on your choice. There is an
additional better shield… later. Also additional active
powerups to spice up gameplay and equip you better. Something you will
need for wave 10…
After level 20 difficulty ramps up. How far can you go?
